Iona Harrison

Born in San Juan Puerto Rico, Ms. Harrison resides in suburban Maryland. She attended Georgetown University and received a B.S. in history from the University of Maryland. A licensed Realtor since 1976, she has served as the President of the Maryland Realtors®, Inc.

She has been pleased to serve the National Association of Realtors®, Inc. in numerous capacities including: Chair of Federal Taxation, Liaison to RPAC Disbursements, Chair of the Major Investor Council, Realtor Party Fundraising Liaison , past chair of Business Issues, Conventional Finance and Lending Committee, Federal Housing Policy Committee, H.V.C.C. Working Group, Housing Opportunity Advisory Board, Public Policy Coordinating Committee and the Regulatory Issues Forum and has testified before Congress on NAR’s behalf.

She is a Golden R and member of NAR’s Hall of Fame at the $50,000 tier.

Married for 44 years to fellow Realtor, John J. Harrison, she has 5 children and 6 grandchildren.
